Pierce the Dark Veil

 "Whatever the Lord pleases, that has He done in the heavens and on earth, and in the seas and all the deeps-- Who causes the vapors to arise from the ends of the earth, 

Who makes lightning for the rain, Who brings the wind out of His storehouses; Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both man and beast." Psalm 135:6 

The Lord will pierce the veil placed and woven over America. It was woven to create deception, control and intimidation. It was woven by the elite and powerful, with lies, suspicion and seduction. 

The Lord, who hears the cry of the righteous, will pierce the dark with the power hidden in His hand like a bolt of lightning.

In the beautiful verse above it says, "He sends the lightning for the rain". When lightning is released it pierces between heaven and earth and creates a portal. This allows the rain (which represents righteousness and favor) to water the ground.

The Lord awoke me this morning speaking to me of piercing the dark veil. When He pierces darkness with light He does so with arrows of life, love and hope, with which He pierces the heart of man. 

"For the Lord will not cast off forever: though He cause grief, yet will He show compassion according to the multitude of His mercies. For He does not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men. 

To crush under one's feet all the prisoners of earth, to turn aside the justice due a man before the face of the most high, or subvert a man in his cause- the Lord does not approve." Lamentations 3:31-36

There is a piercing from the enemy and a piercing from The Most High God. There is about to be a rending of the heavens so that truth and justice can prevail within our land. So that America can be a witness before the earth, a testimony of God's goodness and sovereignty.

"For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. " Hebrews 4:11-13

Let's contrast this holy piercing to one who pierces our hearts and tongues in order to take captive rather than giving abundantly, the joy of freedom. Free will is the gift of God given from the very beginning of creation. 

"In that day, the Lord, with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing (piercing) serpent, Leviathan the twisted serpent; and He will slay the reptile that is in the sea." Isaiah 27:1 

So the Lord pierces our hearts and the atmosphere of our nation with Love, Truth and Hope. The enemy, uses leaders and politicians; uses people we look to for guidance, to pierce our souls with manipulations, machinations and intimidation. To take us captive.

This veil of deception is about to be rent asunder for light to break through; for the purpose of cleansing  and bathing us in a new hope. 

As I prayed for our nation the Lord took me to Isaiah 28:21...

"For the Lord will rise up as at Mt. Perazim, He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon-- that He may do His work, His awesome work, to bring to pass His act, His unusual act. " 

This is the act referred to in Isaiah but described in Samuel...

"So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water." 2 Sam. 5:20 

 Some interpretations say, "The Lord has broken through my enemies like WATERS THAT GO UP." Picture here a geyser or the down and up stroke of a lightning strike which creates a portal or piercing of the atmosphere. The Lord is about to pierce the veil of darkness which has settled over our land. 

Evil persons have manipulated and woven for themselves a veil of power and influence over our land but in doing so they have pierced themselves with the terrible piercing of the serpent's brand.

 The Lord would have honored them had they honored Him. It is never His desire to judge or punish when He desires to cleanse and heal our land. However a piercing of the veil is coming. A piercing of their evil power grid or matrix... is coming. 

" But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." 1 Timothy 6:9,10

It was not the Lord's will for our  leaders (both in the church and government) to be pierced with this sorrow but they chose their path. Like Judas, the way is set to the potters field. By their many choices.

Now you are about to see the piercing made public. The piercing of the dark veil with His light. The Joseph's, David's and Daniel's are about to arise. The Deborah's, Ruth's and Esther's are about to arise.

More importantly the Lord is about to strike the earth with lightnings to pierce the darkness. He is, simultaneously, about to arise in His people as Waters that go up like a geyser. 

" And your right hand shall teach you awesome things. Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the Kings enemies; the people fall under you." Psalm 45: 4 

This speaks of the Lord Jesus to whom thousands have been crying out for our nations liberty to be restored. 

"God brings him out of Egypt; He has strength as a wild ox; He shall consume the nations, his enemies; He shall break their bones and pierce them with his arrows.  

He bows down, he lies down as a lion; and as a lion, who shall rouse him? 

Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you." Numbers 24:8,9

This is the blessing of the prophet Balaam when he was paid to curse Israel. In this day we have many who have been paid to curse our nation: in our churches, in the media, in our universities and in our government. 

However, many have not agreed to curse what God has blessed. These are the heroes and heroins of this season and of this land. They will be honored by the Lord.

The Lord God, Sovereign of our land, will now pierce the dark veil. 

Bless where He blesses but do not bless what He has pierced. Do not agree with what He has condemned. Do not seek to hide what He will uncover. 

So when lightning strikes, though it be darkest night, the sky lights up as though it was daylight. You can see everything. This is how the Sovereign Lord will answer our prayers. 

When Jesus was on the cross it became dark even though it was daytime. Now we are entering the time when Ressurection power must begin to manifest in the earth.. according to Romans 8.

Fortunately and due to the sowing of worship and prayer and evangelism...our nation will be a part of this piercing the dark veil. Hallelujah.

Be attentive and watchful and let Him be glorified because that is Who He is. He is glory and His glory will strike the land with both His judgment and favor. His glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. 

One Another

Turns out, there are over 50- ONE ANOTHERS- in the New Testament which are commandments instructing the body of Christ in how to treat each other. 

Many of these, you cannot do on zoom or fb or the internet. For example, "Greet one another with a holy kiss." To greet someone, it requires you to be face to face and to have a kind and welcoming countenance. To have affection toward one another.

" And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24 

My dear friend printed out The 50 (ish) ONE ANOTHERS, for me, and I have been going over them to get a sense of the early church's practices. 

If you are in a large or mega church...there must be cell groups in order to fulfill His Word. Even in a medium size church there should be home gatherings. 

During the covid shut down it is morally and legally wrong to shut down your gatherings. You must find a way to gather in small groups whether it be in back yards or streets, beaches or parks. We must obey God rather than man in this case.

At least half of the 50- ONE ANOTHERS- requires a verbal communication or an exchange of words. The other half seem to suggest an attitude of the heart or modeling your love through actions. 

Our demeanor makes up a great deal of our witness. So many of the ONE ANOTHERS just say, "LOVE ONE ANOTHER." Yet this is an art which some must learn because we have not learned it in our homes. 

It is just as important as learning The Biblical Covenants and Biblical doctrines. Our Pastors should absolutely be modeling this for us!

Remember, showing hospitality is a central requirement for a deacon or elder. The Lord has revealed to me that hospitality is one of the pillars of wisdom. It certainly is a central theme with Jesus and Father God. 

Jesus appears to John in Revelation as the Alpha and Omega. The first thing He requires of the 7 churches is to "return to your first love. "

I'm pretty sure the western church is on a HARD RESET right now because we need to repent. We have fallen from our first love. 

Scripture teaches that GOD IS LOVE. If we are passionately in love with The Creator (of love itself) then it will surely be easier to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. It is within the small home groups that everyone is able to share from their hearts. 

As a Kindergarten teacher (of over 25 years) I learned something invaluable. When I gave children a trusted space to share and talk, they were almost always able to develop their listening skills. 

They received respect and value from myself and the group for their ideas and the issues of their hearts and then in return, could give the respect back.

Scripture warns us to guard the wellspring of our hearts. We teach each other how to do this when we take time to listen. We have over achieved in teaching and preaching but listening is a rare art. 

One of the ONE ANOTHERS is to "share one another's burdens." How can we do this without an exchange of words & affection?

 You must feel welcome and safe to open your heart to others. I'm not talking about people who just dump their junk on the group. We do need to create boundaries for home groups. 

Taking the time to actually sit down and exchange testimonies and challenges; this is so important and a true expression of loving ONE ANOTHER.
