Chastisement

"The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5

Jesus did not chastise the blind man for being blind.

He healed & delivered & gave glorious sight & light to the blind man.

In fact when the disciples asked Jesus.. "did this man sin or his parents?" ...

Jesus said..."neither but this is for God's glory". Of course sin was present in their lives...it invades all our lives and all our fallen, earthly realm.

The same is true of those spiritually blind. Jesus does not chastise them about sin but His love & light is longing to introduce them to His glory and to banish their darkness.

Chastisement is not an anointing or call or ministry. Though it has been modeled by many ministers & ministries...

I would suggest to you that it was introduced by the enemy. The enemy of salvation. The one who comes only to steal, kill & destroy.

Think of his method in the garden with the perfect Adam & Eve... he convinced them they were lacking something. He convinced them God was withholding His goodness & grace.

And now, think of his ploy in the wilderness with the perfect Son of God. Chastisement. Did God really say? Are you really His beloved?

Does Jesus really love the sinner? Does He really heal the blind? Can His pure love really set them free? Can His pure love really lead them to repentance? Can He really turn on the Light within their souls?

The blind & the sinner know they are lost...they don't need anyone to tell them that...they need someone to lead them to the healer of their souls. They need someone to lead them to the sweetness of LIGHT. A sweet contrast to their misery & reproach. They need to be delivered from the constant CHASTISEMENT.

In fact, chastisement lines up more with accusation, which is Satan's ministry. Jesus role is likened to a divine Mediator in the Courts of Heaven. Not an accuser. In His walk on earth He played the role of advocate.

He was The Accused, The Advocate, and The Judged.

He taught His disciples to sit as Jurors. But He told them to wait for Holy Spirit & power. They were to witness only within the anointing of His Salvation.

At His ressurection...Holy Spirit was released as The Court's Baliff. He (Jesus) became, again, Our Witness, Our Attorney assigned by The Courts, by Father God Himself.

Once He has fulfilled this final redemption ...He becomes The Ultimate Judge of all Creation.

For the interum, He advocates for redemption, grace and Liberty.

HIS ROSTRUM IS LOVINGKINDNESS.

His flowing Words are a sweet fountain of delight. If you declare 📜  Him here on earth, He will stand on your behalf in His Father's Courts.

The Cross ✝️,  the wood, cast upon the bitter waters 💧 turns them sweet. Holy Spirit does not correct with condemnation but with flowing, Living Water...

He displaces the curse of sin and sweetly washes away all of sins sorrows. He fills and displaces bitter with sweet.

Chastisement is not a call, anointing or ministry. His Word always flows like LIVING WATER. Living Water cannot ever be bitter...that is not His character or make up. NEVER, EVER.

To speak, as a believer, out of harsh chastisement to the unsaved, the blind, is to speak out of self righteousness. Remember who has saved your soul.

If the blind are brought near to the sound of your voice (even though their motive may seem off)...

your role is to invade the  atmosphere with the sweetness of LIGHT. Your role is to bring forth sweet refreshing, Living Water.

ECCLESIASTES says...

 LIGHT IS SWEET.

"The chastisement for our peace was upon Him." Isaiah 53:5

Postscript: "Jesus lifted up His eyes and saw the people coming from afar." ...from the story of feeding the multitude. Jesus planned to feed these people which were unsaved, a mixed multitude with various motives & levels of spiritual blindness. He desired to feed them before opening their eyes to truth. Before giving them the true fresh bread of Himself.

It is your assignment to feed people both physically & spiritually...rather than rebuking & chastising them. Jesus' disciples desired to call down fire from heaven upon a town simply for not being ready to receive Jesus....and His Word. Jesus rebuked His disciples rather than the town and said, "You do not know what spirit you are of !".

Naba & Nataf

In the Old Testament, there are two words for prophecy, Naba & Nataf.

But they mean so much more than prophecy. They describe the function of Holy Spirit. They describe God's very plan to write His Word on our hearts. HIS LIFE GIVING WORD...

 not destructive or judgmental

but GRACE, GRACE, GRACE.

 ( Zechariah 4:7)

They (naba & nataf) describe the function of God's Word flowing through Holy Spirit like a Wellspring or like Rain...

Flowing to and through us, as born again believers.

Naba means, to bubble up, to gush forth, to pour forth.

Nataf means, to drop, to fall as drops of rain.

God's Word was designed to flow to and through us, by Holy Spirit...

Just like a Wellspring and just like a sweet, fresh shower of rain 🌧 from His glory realm.

Rain softens the ground for the harvest seeds....for planting,  for harvesting mature crop (former & latter rain).

A Wellspring, bubbling up inside us, brings joy and strength to our lives...

And power for walking out our lives and fulfilling our destinies.

The church (at large) has not understood the vast legacy and comprehensive role given to Holy Spirit...

Scripture admonishes us... that Holy Spirit "searches the deep things of God".

Think of the global effect of the earth's water system...consider that life does not exist...except by water.

Jesus told His disciples in John 4 & 7 that it was imperative for Him to send the Holy Spirit. He spoke of Holy Spirit as Living Water...which had no limit to its supply.

Why are we trying to limit the influence of Holy Spirit? I am speaking of the church, at large, with its many subdivisions.

Why would we limit true prophets and the full flow of the Living Waters of God's Word & Holy Spirit?

Answer: we, as individuals, do not want to give up our control. Church leaders do not want to lose their control. Human control does not compare to Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit is "easily entreated." The recent Asbury Revival showed us a glimpse of this aspect of Holy Spirit's power and gentleness.

Contrast that with...

Control. CONTROL.

We fear losing control. We resist going with His LIFE FLOW.

In the book of Job, the Lord says, "He brings the rain to quiet all mankind, to stop him in his labor".

The rain brings a time to listen, to slow down, to rest. This is what awaits those who yield to Holy Spirit. And snow ❄️ brings the spring..

 of new life

& releases rivers on the mountains...

the purest form of drinking water 🚰 ever known.

We are being given a wondrous sign in the heavens right now in the U.S. (17 atmospheric rivers hit California, 17 Victory, 17 things which cannot separate us from God's love)

We are witnessing the vast power, life & refreshing of Holy Spirit upon our land... in the form of atmospheric rivers & historic snow.

And.. I would like to remind everyone that this weather system was prophesied by one of our prophets quite a while back...Hank Kunneman...a true prophet of New Testament honor. It's on video, recorded for our benefit on Lord of Hosts Church and Flash Point.

There is a Newness, freshness & powerful cleansing, literally pouring out, over our land... and yes,

this is the will of God,

being made known.

Please, people of God....open your hearts up to this marvelous Wellspring of life.

Flowing with Holy Spirit, by choice, by free will, is the most empowering delightful thing we could ever experience.

It is the most free-ing thing we could ever do. It is a cooperative movement of Life Everlasting in corporate power...likened to

 A River.

(Revelation 22, Ezekial 47)

Postscript : I teach on this Holy Spirit/ Word flow in my book Zamiyr, Governmental Waterworks. Specifically on pg. 61 & 62... I explain naba & nataf.
