The River

The River of God flows from God's Throne in heaven and from God's Temple on earth simultaneously.

Or at least it should be flowing on earth; that is God's express will for us and for His Kingdom come. How do we discern and participate in this powerful flowing force of His Kingdom?

The River of God consists of His Word, His Holy Spirit and the true worship and declarations from believers. Like water it is a trinity in it's function. And we are not left out, we are a part of His goodness-  we have been granted access and great privilege to water and sustain life on the earth.

Holy Spirit administers the flow. Since Holy Spirit administers the flow...and He is the One who searches all the deep things of God; and since He is the One who brings all things to our remembrance...He is the One who is The Great Connecter and The Great Equalizer. As in the natural, water sustains all life, so in the Spiritual, Holy Spirit sustains and waters us.

Holy Spirit manages The River just as rivers on earth are managed with dams & power turbines, etc. Neither man nor the earth can really control a river but The River decides its course. With The Heavenly River only Yahweh is in Control, Administrating through Holy Spirit.

(Searcheth- ROM.8:27, 1 Cor.2:10, Rev.2:23, Prov 20:27. Remembrance-John 14:26)

Holy Spirit is the One whom Jesus, The Word, released to abide within us as His Wellspring. His Kingdom cannot come to earth without connecting our wellspring(s) to His Throne River.

"Oooohhh, all my fountains are in you."

 LOVE that 🎵 song!

Revelation 7:17 says, He leads us to fountains of living 💧waters. Are you being led by the Lamb? It is through knowing Him as the Lamb and by putting on the garments of the Lamb that we become overcomers. The River of God is all about overcoming and bringing His Kingdom.

Open your Bible and take a moment to read Revelation 7 and Ezekiel 47. Just take a moment and open your heart for the Holy Spirit to quicken your heart.

Do you think this verse, in Revelation,  is only for the end times? No, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Besides, most of us truly do not perceive or discern God's timeline of events. Let's be honest. In Ezekiel 47, do you discern if we are at a place,  in history, which is ankle deep, knee deep, hip deep or have we arrived at a time when the River is flowing full force?

"There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the Holy place of the Tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted."

Psalm 46:4-6

When you are floating in water, you become weightless, gravity has less effect on you. In the same way, Holy Spirit lifts you up and helps you sense or discern the earth from His perspective. You discern the flow of God's will, His intentions for His Kingdom come.

To give yourself to His flow is to turn over your control to the Lord. Its not that you become mindless like a piece of driftwood; it is a power-filled Oneness and acquiescence that you joyfully experience. It is a unification that is wonderfully and fully of His good will and glory.

This is where you experience "the mind of Christ" to the fullest extent. Scripture has much to say about us experiencing the mind of Christ. (Is. 26:3, Rom.12:2, 2Cor.13:11, Eph.4:23, Phil.2:2, Heb.8:10, 1Pet.1:13) Just a few examples.

This experience is made easy by the flow of The Rivers and Streams of Holy Spirit. They only contain the pure Word of God. The pure intentions of The Lamb. The pure and Holy ways of Christ. Remember He said, abide in me and I will abide in you. We do this in the flow of His Living 💧Waters.

Yes, our minds are still being renewed... but the flow of powerful waters 💧 are what have sculpted the very mountains and the majestic beauty of the grand canyon. We must trust God's will and ways. We cannot make this happen without the Living Waters of Holy Spirit. This was His plan all along.

☆Remember also-

Ezekiel had an escort to steady him in The River.

Jesus had John to hold him in The Jordan.

God will not allow you to be overwhelmed. He will hold you in His powerful hands.

The River is described in Ezekiel 47 and in Revelation 22. The Temple described in the book of Ezekiel is a puzzle which many have struggled to piece together. This is where The River flows out into the earth to heal the nations.

Since the original language of Hebrew provides three integrated understandings; each letter is a

1.picture

2.numeral and

3.letter-

Soooo..  it is yet to be fully understood in its fullness. I believe if we could fully understand the puzzle- we would see a Living Entity. We are the last day Temple, not a building. However it may be a building site as well. As in the Spirit so in the natural.

Obviously each Temple (Moses, Solomons, Ezekiels) of which blueprints are given in scripture-  are models of something very real which already exists in heaven, in the eternal realm.

Jesus was the original builder and He ordained His Apostles to be co-builders.

We are to be the Temple out of which flows The River of God.

First we need to learn how to function as His Wellspring(s), then we need to learn how to function in Unison with His Throne River. Holy Spirit was given to teach us and to lead us into all truth. He will teach us the flow yet will also hold us steady in that flow.

Believe it or not there are instructions about the order and function, of His rivers and wellsprings, already hidden within The Word. His building plans so to speak; His dam and turbine plans.

The plans for The River expansions are tied into:

 1. The Tabernacle of David restoration as mentioned in Acts 15:15.

 2.  They are tied into The Song of the Lord and the prophets who speak by the harp & lyre.

3. They are tied into the willingness of The Bride of Christ.

"I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, Do not stir up nor awaken love until it pleases" Song of Solomon 8:4

We have yet to see the whole unfurling of the 📜 living scroll whom/which is Jesus! (John 1 & Rev.19:13) What adventures await us as we navigate The River! His River. His Way. His Flow.

To arrive at our River destination we must first learn to yield in acquiescence to Jesus and to Holy Spirit. He will lead us to The Fountain(s) and to The River of God.

"O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely." SOS 2:14

If we are gazing into the flow of His River, waiting quietly in the green grass (Psalm 23) by a little shallow eddy; if we are gazing at the ripples in the river, we will see, in our reflection, His face looking back with love. He is calling us in beloved. He will sustain us there!

He sees everything with pure understanding.

How beautiful His insights-- without distortion.

His eyes rest upon the fulness of the river of revelation, flowing so clean and pure.
