Sound of Many Waters-1

Sound of Many Waters-

Part One-Singing Prince

Singing Dynasty-Line of 7

Have you heard the voice of the Lord, Himself? Have you heard Him sing?

"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you;

in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing."

Zephania 3:17

The Song of The LORD was a central force from the beginning...why? Because... Jesus is...

The Song of Songs!

Many names within scripture describe the character & attributes of the Godhead.

And... 'Song of Songs' describes one of the most beautiful & intriguing  attributes of Jesus...

Song describes the beauty & wonder of His voice.

His Word, His voice is so refreshing ...scripture  declares it to be... like.. "the sound of many waters."

His voice expresses all that is life giving. No wonder multitudes, in Gospel times, flocked to hear His voice.

He is a joyful, singing, bridegroom, who is in pursuit of love!

Song of Songs is His majestic Name!

Like... Savior, Redeemer,

Son of God,

The Word,

Faithful & True....

Prince of Peace...

He fulfills the Song of Songs with His very heart, His motive & His essence! To hear His voice is to be compelled toward love.

Song was a part of the great celebration of all the heavenly Host during His act of creation.

All that was created was created by Christ. John 1:3 states this clearly...

but song, itself, was not just created by Christ...it is a part of WHO HE IS. It is an expression of His passion & love.

Jesus, The Word, sang forth the beautiful imaginations & thoughts of Father God...

as Creation sprang forth...

all of the heavenly Host responded in like manner.

"Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?...when the morning stars sang together, and the sons of God shouted for joy?"

Job 38:4,7

The heavenly hosts were responding to The Word. When Lucifer led the worship of heaven's choirs....they too were responding to Jesus, The Word. He was the focus of All Praise.

JESUS, YESHUA was the source of  praise itself. He was the focus & the source of Song. This is why Isaiah 12:3 instructs us,

"Surely God is my salvation; I will trust & not be afraid.

 The Lord, The Lord Himself, is my strength & my song;

He has become my salvation. With joy you will draw water 💧 from The wells of salvation (Yeshua)."

"He is my song!" Jesus is the Song of Songs! He is your song and my song.

Lucifer sought to hijack, pollute & counterfeit the song; once he realized Song was designed to romance the bride of Christ.

Pride & dark jealousy filled his heart & he fell from his lofty privilege of lead worshiper.

Isaiah 14:12-15 & Ezekiel 28:11-19

All of creation has a resonance, a frequency because it must respond in like kind as each entity & dimension is called forth by Jesus. Through The Word....SONG calls forth song!

Proverbs says of 'wisdom',

"I was there when He set the heavens in place, when He marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,

Then I was constantly at His side. I was filled with delight day after day,

rejoicing always in His presence, rejoicing in His whole world and delighting in mankind. "

Proverbs 8:27, 30

He is a singing,

 joyful,

delighting,

loving...God!

As scripture was recorded by Moses...Song became a fixed component of the first five books, The Torah.

Moses composed 3 Songs. The Red Sea Song in Exodus 15,

The Wellspring Song in Numbers 21

and the song of Deuteronomy  32 which I describe as,

"Teaching as Rain, Doctrine as the dew".

Here you have 3 Songs connected to...

 the Pillar of Cloud

 the Sea 🌊,

the Wellspring & Rain.

All songs are related to the sound of many waters, as you will see.

We know the songs are important because Moses himself declares 📜 to Israel...

"They are not just idle words for you---they are your life."

Deuteronomy 32: 47

We also know the song(s) of Moses are paramount due to the honor paid them in The Book of Revelation,

"They held harps given to them by God and sang the song of God's servant Moses

 and of the Lamb:"

Revelation 15:2,3

There is a song of Moses and a Song of the Lamb. Take note.

Sacred Song is an integral part and a significant prophetic framework within scripture. I would say, much more significant than we have known or acknowledged.

We are not to take our song, nor His song for granted. In fact we are to join them together (by Holy Spirit) which creates- "The Sound of Many Waters! "

Why? Because within the Song there is an exchange and a re-connection between heaven & earth!

Just as Lucifer created a disconnect with his fall so our wondrous Messiah creates a reconnect with The Cross. He repeated a Psalm at Passover and in His time of Passion.

The 24 Sacred Songs which are carefully recorded & quoted in scripture- reveal Jesus as the 7th Singing King in a line of seven  Kings.

The first singing King was David, known as "The beloved harpist of Israel".

Samuel, who anointed & ordained David had a school of singing prophets.

"As you approach the town, you will meet a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, timbres, pipes & harps played before them,

 and they will prophesy. The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them;

you will be changed into a different person."

This was a sign to Saul when Samuel anointed him as King. Saul had an issue with fear & insecurity which was (for a time) cured by prophetic song.

David, the young psalmist was later assigned to Saul's court to help calm Saul's heart.

Later, when David fled from Saul, he retreated to this same place (the school of the prophets) for a time.

1 Samuel 19:18

Growing up as a young Jewish boy, David would have been taught the songs of Moses & Miriam. Indeed, he had 4 Sacred Songs to memorize.

The 4th Song recorded in God's holy scroll was Deborah's Song in Judges 5:1-31. Deborah was "a mother in Israel".

David's first recorded song was the 5th Sacred Song which later become a part of  God's Word.

One great difference between Saul & David...Song was a part of David from the inside out. David had engaged, within his heart, the blessed One, the Song of Songs.

He is the only one in scripture who boldly declares,

"I love you Lord."

Song represents a relationship of harmony & love. This is a key 🔑 to overcoming power & courage.

It's important to understand how & why these songs were honored to become a sacred part of scripture!

Whereas Moses was given the task of establishing a prenuptial agreement...a marriage Covenant...

with God's chosen people...

David's songs were revealing a love relationship. A holy romance.

The evidence of this is marked by his son, Solomon, who wrote The Song of Songs. Solomon grew up in an atmosphere of David's love songs to His Father God.

When the kingdom was fully come under King David...he quickly set about to follow Samuel's example. He set up singing prophets to sing in The Tent & in the Gates.

Heman, Samuel's grandson, was one of David's lead singers. David did this to preserve the Kingdom. Without the technology of media, David created a way to fill the atmosphere with truth & peace.

The same song of the Lord which stilled the heart of Saul, was meant to bring rest & peace to the entire kingdom.

Here in 1st Chronicles 25 we see the process unfold.

"David, together with the commanders of the army,

set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying,

accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals."

1 Chronicles 25:1

Notice, song was accompanied with prophecy. Speaking life into the very atmosphere of Jerusalem...from Zion.

Moses had already sung of God as a 'man of war'. Deborah did this as well.  So it is no strange thing for David to have his army commanders included in the process of assigning his chief singers.

His mighty men knew David's Songs. They observed the benefits. They saw the loving favor of God upon their Commander, David.

We see here that prophetic song is understood as a 'martial art'. Not for destruction but for self-defence alone. For preserving the civilian life of a worshipping nation.

David's mighty men were accustomed to David strengthening himself as a warrior through worship.

All warfare was against darkness & evil...never for the sake of force or oppresive dominion.

Joy filled free will offerings. Peace giving dominion not tyrany.

Even when David wrote a song of Lament for his friend Jonathan & King Saul (when they perished)...he instructed the song to be taught to the 'people of Judah'.

"David took up this Lament concerning Saul and his son Jonathan, and he ordered that the people of Judah be taught this lament of the bow (it is written in the Book of Jasher):"

2 Samuel 1:17

So martial & prophetic song now becomes a part of Israel's national life...through David. The singing prophet was set into his rightful governmental post.

The Songs were Word, Worship & Warfare. 3 in One. The singers worked alongside of & in cooperation with the Levitical priests...and the king.

The singers also carried The 🔑 Keys to the Tent of David...and The Gates of the city. We will look into this later.

It was a song of God's love which became a theme and National Anthem for Israel.

A warrior can only be as strong as his love for that which he defends. Song of Solomon says,

"Love is strong as death"

Song of Songs 8:6

How well David learns this lesson as he fights for Israel. How well he learns this as he survives attempts on his life for 14 years living in exile from his beloved land.

So in this process, David becomes determined to establish his love song for his beloved Israel and for his beloved Saviour-God.

"David left Zadok the priest and his fellow priests before the Tabernacle of the Lord at the high place in Gibeon...

With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of them chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the Lord,

 "For His love endures forever."

Heman and Jeduthun were responsible for the sounding of the trumpets and cymbals

and for the playing of other instruments for Sacred Song.

The sons of Jeduthun were stationed at the gates."

1 Chronicles 16:39,41

So the Singing Dynasty-Line of 7- begins!

It begins with quite the procession, spectacle & fanfare...

David dancing with all his might before The Ark...

Levites nobly carrying the Ark on their shoulders...

sacred sacrifices every few steps...for miles...&miles

pageantry of singers & musicians....in white linen.

Priests playing trumpets....

David feeding a nation...

each man & woman receiving a gift from the king ... a sweet & satisfying treat.

At the close of the day... he sends the citizens home with an anointed blessing.

Pleasantness & happiness fill the land replacing strife, betrayal & intrigue.

A time of prosperity, alignment & harmony because of the anointing of the Song of Songs.

David spends the rest of his life collecting treasure for the new Temple & instructing his son Solomon.

David knows his life is a shadow, just a picture of the true...

RETURN OF THE KING.!

This revelation is clearly foreshadowed by Nathan the prophet in 1 Chronicles 17.

Then David confirms it in Psalm 72 & 2 Samuel 23 in the last words of David-

"The Spirit of the Lord spoke through me; His Word was on my tongue. The God of Israel spoke, The Rock of Israel said to me:

'When one rules over people in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God,

he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning,

like the brightness after rain that bring grass from the earth.' "

2 Samuel 23

Let's talk about kings & dynasties for a moment; we understand the oppression brought about by carnal, oppresive, man- ruled kingdoms throughout history.

It's very important to make a distinction here between the Kingdom of God and the kingdoms of man.

They are different as night & day.

In 2 Samuel 23 quoted above...Father God clearly makes His distinction between man's rule and His Son's "rule" which will be like the freshness of rain and a new day dawning!

"To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen"

Revelation 1:5, 6

This is a Dynasty established by humility & love...to bring forth the nobility of each man & woman. Established in the holy fear of God.

After Pentecost, Peters first 2 public sermons also make a clear distinction. In Peters first sermon in Acts 2:14-39, Peter speaking by Holy Spirit, identifies Jesus as David's Son...a lowly shepherd- king.

In Peter's 2nd sermon in Acts 3:12- 26, Peter twice refers to Jesus as...

 "God's servant Jesus."

He tells them you "killed the prince of life".

Peter knew first hand about Jesus' kindness & humility. Jesus washed Peters feet in their last supper together.

Again, it's so important to make the distinction of humility & grace that is required of all who desire God's Kingdom to come.

We also know Father God sovereignly ordained for Jesus to be raised in Nazareth, a most humble little town.

Any movement, religion or political ideology that coerces, manipulates or censors free will...big red flag. Our leaders must show an ability & commitment to lay down their lives for others.

Now we will see within the lineage of the Kings of Judah (20 generations in all) how the LORD kept His promise to David...

to forever keep David's Son upon The Throne...with a Singing Dynasty...Line of 7.

The second man in the line of our 'Singing Dynasty' is King Solomon. Again singers are assigned by order of the King.

"All the Levites who were musicians...stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres.

They were accompanied by 120 priests playing trumpets.

The trumpeters. and musicians joined in unison to give thanks & praise to the Lord...the singers raised their voices...

'He is good, His love endures forever.'

Then the Temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud..."

2 Chronicles 5:12

This was only the beginning of the dedication of the New Temple. I encourage you to read 2 Chronicles 5, 6 & 7. The Holy, fiery love of God,  which David sought, manifests in wondrous jaw dropping glory.

Solomon dedicates the TEMPLE and asks God for His blessing. THE CLOUD fills the Temple, The singers continue and heavenly Living 🔥 Fire comes down upon the altar.

You and I have been taught about the continuous cycle of Israel's infidelity to their Covenant with God. Yet, every time the Lord reinforced His Covenant...Song burst forth!

There were intervals in the long line of kings which brought Israel down to the pit.

Samuel had prophesied the damage these human kings would do! Yet God provided redemption in the midst of all this.

Each King who sought to bring Israel back to sincere worship of the One true God... each of those righteous kings...also reinstated the office of singer! This is key.

This was a powerful & beautiful way to penetrate the people's hearts with truth & worship. Song is the universal language of love & unity!

Each king --prophetically-- added another amazing aspect of the power of governmental worship.

When I say governmental worship...I am not condoning a theocracy or forced religion. I'm speaking of a passionate, spontaneous song of the heart...

never mental ascent achieved by intellect or man's teaching.

It's supernatural song!

I am saying, the kings, the heads of governance chose to humble themselves & govern from a place of worship & friendship with God.

As you will see... there were only 6 kings (among 20 generations in The Old Testament)...

with Jesus (in the New Testament) fulfilling the 7th King of Judah, King of Praise-Yah...in...

The Line of 7. These 7 were kings of praise.

The third King in the line of 7 is King Jehoshaphat.

By the time of David's grandson...the Kingdom became divided with one king over Israel & one king over Judah.

The line of 7 continues under Judah. The line of 7 continues under Praise-Yah, under Supernatural Song.

In 2 Chronicles 20:20 we find the story where the singers are set before the army of Israel. It is prophesied & revealed under this 3rd King....

"The battle is the Lords"

Indeed, as they go out in utter reliance upon God, under cover of worship, heaven intervenes for them.

This office of prophetic singer does not end in the Old Testament. There are several scriptures in New Testament identifying Jesus as the fulfillment of the 7th prophetic singing King! We are coming to those!

Jesus' natural half-brother, James, declares... The Tent of David will be restored!

Acts 15:15,16 at the counsel of the elders. This must include the singer...that is the precedent set by David & repeated in the Line of 7!

In addition...the 24 Sacred Songs continue into the New Testament. There are 16 Sacred Songs in the Old Testament & 8 in the New.

Revelation 5 informs us, indeed, that this office continues right into heaven...

IN THE BEGINNING...SONG...

from heaven to earth...

and from earth back to heaven...

the Song of Songs continues forever.

Echoing across all the Cosmos and across all the expanse of time & eternity...

"His love endures forever!"

Lets follow the golden nuggets all the way, back to the beginning, where it all began!

"Each one had a Harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people. And they sang a new song..."

Revelation 5

This revelation is so important for today's church. The role of worship leader is crucial. They are to carry a fresh life-giving word within their songs....like the sound of many waters.

As David instructed in his last words...

"His word must be on their tongues!" (my paraphrase)

The Song of The Lord must begin in The House of the Lord and from there...  flow out to the nations!

It is designed to connect all tribes, tongues & nations. It is designed to re-connect  heaven to earth.

It is the key to the quantum realm, which is merely a part of God's natural order of creation. There is no key thru man made science nor thru man made technology. Beware of this deception.

The fourth King in the line of 7 is King Hezekiah.

2 Chronicles 29 gives a lengthy description of the restoration of the Temple and prophetic worship. By this time in Israel's history...it takes the priests 16 days to clear the Temple, to purify & restore it!

"He (King Hezekiah) stationed the Levites in the Temple of the Lord with cymbals, harps & lyres...

 in the way prescribed by David & Gad the king's seer & Nathan the prophet;

this was commanded by the Lord through His prophets.

So the Levites stood ready with David's instruments & the priests with their trumpets."

King Hezekiah makes a great effort to invite all of Israel to return to worship at Jerusalem with Judah. He is somewhat successful in re-unite-ing  the 2 parts of the kingdom for a time.

The 5th King in the line of 7 is King Josiah. He is the last King of Judah before The Exile.

2 Chronicles 34:12 & 35:15 describe his re-installment of the singing office of priests. Again all is fallen into disrepair & in process of restoration...the priests stumble upon a copy of the Torah.

When it is read aloud to Josiah he tears his robes & grieves for Israel's fallen state. His consecration & subsequent restoration is earmarked by an elaborate PASSOVER.

Josiah knows God's judgment of Exile is coming (1 Chronicles 34:22) yet he moves forward into repentance & restoration.

He establishes the most exquisite Passover celebration "since the days of David"...doing his best to unite & include all of Israel (what's left of them) in the process.

So, to review, we have David establishing a "martial art" of prophetic song to cover the land.

His son, Solomon, establishes (what his father reveals) that the 'Song of the Lord' is a Love Ballad...

a passion play being played out on the stage of Jerusalem.

Solomon writes a musical drama...depicting a jealous bridegroom & a lovesick bride. The glory cloud humbles the priests & "very flame of God" comes down upon the New Temple altar.

The third King- in the line of 7- Jehoshaphat becomes completely reliant upon The Song of the Lord for Israel's very survival as they place the singers before the Armies of God.

He too establishes the love song, "Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever." 1 Chronicles 20:21

The fourth King Hezekiah attempts to reunite both Israel & Judah in worship.  His reign follows great evil by previous kings. Yet he is responsible for restoring "great joy" which had not been since the days of Solomon.

1 Chronicles 30:27 says,

"The priests and Levites stood to bless the people, and God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, His holy Dwelling place."

The 5th King Josiah begins as a Boy King tutored by the priests of the Lord. When he discovers how far they have strayed from God...

Josiah turns to a "mother in Israel" a female prophet named Huldah (2 Chronicles 34:22) and she says, "because the people have forsaken me, disaster is coming..."

but due to Josiahs "responsive heart"...

it does not come in His time. Two more kings reign for a very short time.

Notice this phrase...

THE RESPONSIVENESS OF JOSIAHS HEART. This is why The Song of The Lord is crucial....it ties into the responsiveness of each one of our hearts! Song reaches inside us through Holy Spirit!

The very frequency of Gods lovingkindness requires a response.

This tunes us into hearing His Voice and growing into His Light.

We harmonize, we come together in His beautiful, melodic, "sound of many waters."

The 6th ruler in the "Line of 7"- is Sheshbazzar (Zerubbabel) the prince of Judah (Ezra1:8, 5:14).

He works in coordination with Ezra & later, the Governor Nehemiah (Nehemiah 8:9).

These 3 govern under Cyrus (Darius) The King of Persia, Governor Tattanai (Trans-Euphrates) and Artaxerxes.

Zerubbabel & Ezra restore the Altar, Temple & The Law.  Nehemiah restores the walls of  Jerusalem and the sanctity of the blood line. Remember, they are still awaiting their Messiah.

They, all 3, working in tandem, restore the office of prophetic singer.

In Nehemiah 7:1 we have a key of David...

"After the wall had been rebuilt and I had set the doors in place, the gatekeepers, the musicians and the Levites were appointed. "

So...in this 6th installment of Israel's singing Dynasty we have a trinity of leadership under a trinity (Ezra 5&6) of Persian Kings. Interesting!

We also have a trinity of  gatekeepers & Keys of David.

"A 3- fold cord is not easily broken"....as declared in God's Word.

This is wisdom for the current day ecclessia to heed and maintain. This is why I am quoting this key in Nehemiah 7:1.

Remember these 3 godly men were enduring false 'legal' charges...through the entire time line of their restoration, revival & rebuilding efforts.

It was Nehemiah who added the revelation,

"The joy of the Lord is your strength."

Nehemiah 8:10

Their work was dangerous, challenging & required sacrifice at every turn. It spanned generations.

Yet, joy & worship was the root of their fruitful tree of life.

Notice again the "The sound of many waters"...

Bringing in supplies, silver & gold with returning citizens they stopped to fast & pray at "Ahava Canal" a water gate!

(Ezra 7:21, 31) [Ahava means water].

AND...

...they met at the "Water Gate" for the final dedication of Jerusalem.

Nehemiah 8:1

The Song Nehemiah writes is #10 among 24.

(I list them all, in order, as they are recorded in the protestant Bible of 66 books on my blog).

Song 10 is a Hymn/Oath. Nehemiah has the leaders affix their seals to this Oath as they sanctify a tithe of priests to keep The Temple & Jerusalem.

They must complete the restoration prophesied by Jeremiah for the Messiah must come to this place.

Moses begins this process by bringing God's Covenant to the people. Nehemiah now calls upon the people to present an Oath, a Covenant, back to God...

completing a mutual exchange of Covenant.

Now the stage is set for the Messiah. The One who will sit on David's throne.

Jesus is the 7th King in the line of 7!

You may ask, "Where do we see Jesus singing in The Gospel?" Yes, it must be confirmed in The Word! JESUS does Himself confirm in His own Words...and I will reveal the hidden clues as well.

Remember, we mentioned The Song of Moses and The Song of The Lamb?

First of all...we have already confirmed & well established the 'Davidic Office of Singer'...

so recognize & acknowledge...

this was known among the Jewish leaders of Jesus' time...

though scholars tell us there was a 400 year silence of prophecy.

Yet they knew the word & their history....this is why they were incensed when the children were singing directly to Jesus...

right on into 'their' temple courts. It was a sign they could not ignore!

"Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger."

Psalm 8:2

Secondly scripture does record Jesus singing with the disciples at Passover! (Matthew 26:30 & Mark 14:22).

He was the head of the table so He would have led the song.

Could this be...

The Song of The Lamb? Or is it Psalm 22 which Jesus prayed on The Cross?

Bible scholars tell us what was commonly sung at Passover meals for generations....

Psalm 113-118...

The Hallels.

Specifically, Psalm 118 begins & ends with their National anthem...

"His love for Israel endures forever."

Thirdly, Song broke out from Jesus' birth...

from angels to the shepherds...

& from Mary, herself, as she greeted Elizabeth.

Song broke out in the streets of Jerusalem as Jesus rode in upon the donkey colt as prophesied in Zechariah 9:9.

Song was compelled to break out in the presence of He who was- The Song of Songs!

He is the source of Song therefore we must all respond in like kind. It's spontaneous, it's fresh & new. It's just the way we we're hard wired.

Have you experienced this kind of worship?

Zechariah is the book which prophesies of the last "Prince of Judah"...Zerubbabel.

"This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord God Almighty."

 Zechariah 4:6

Zerubbabel was a type & figure of Jesus.

The text goes on to mention the Capstone and The Two Olive Trees which supply oil to the Golden Lampstand.

Fourthly, Jesus recites a Psalm upon The Cross! Psalm 22. I encourage you to read Psalm 22 in The Passion Translation. You will literally see what Jesus saw from The Cross!

The Song, Psalm 22, gave Jesus the ability to endure until He was ready to release His Spirit...and declare, "It is Finished!"

Now, let's look at Jesus' own words...

Until His Resurrection, He could only sing, "The Song of The Lamb."

Following His Resurrection Jesus finally declares His full identity to His disciples!

"Then Jesus said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me."

 Luke 24:44

Notice, He has already told them, repeatedly, He must fulfill The Law and The Prophets...but now, He adds The Psalms. He's revealing that He must also fulfill The Song!

This is confirmed in several places in Acts, the Epistles & Revelation. Let's go over them together.

The sign of the prophet in the Old Testament was the Harp. It continues into the New Testament as the sign of the prophet...confirmed as such in Revelation 5:8.

"And when He (The Lamb, Yeshua) had taken it (The Scroll), the four living creatures, and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a Harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints, and they sang a new song: "

Now, both books, Hebrews and Romans confirm Jesus as The Divine Singer...

Letters confirming The Gospels to both the Hebrews & Gentiles quote from the book of Psalms to describe Jesus as The Divine Singer.

"I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will SING your praises."

Hebrews 2:12 (quoting Psalm 22:22)

"I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will SING praises to your name." Romans 15:9

( quoting both 2 Samuel 22:50, Psalm 18:49)

The significance of 2 Samuel 22 is that this is David's victory song.

"David sang the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul."

Psalm 18... is a repeat of the same song!

Many have observed the phenomena of  222.... which they correctly assign to Isaiah 22:22...

The Keys of David.

However, can I point out the connection to...

2 Samuel 22

& Psalm 22:22 ...

Jesus prays Psalm 22 on the cross...what more significant connection can you get to the Keys 🔑 of David?

Jesus, Yeshua, is The Song of Songs. This is why David, the beloved "harpist of Israel" is said to have a "heart after God's own heart."

Psalm 22:22 is the very verse where Jesus turns His eyes from His suffering, His betrayal & His attackers...

He turns His eyes to His Father... from Psalm 22:22...

He declares, He will sing!

We have been taught that Father God turned away from Jesus while on the cross. No!

Jesus was blinded by agony, approaching death & the defilement of sin. He could barely pull breath into His lungs, yet, He managed to declare Psalm 22...The Song of The Lamb.

If Jesus own frail mother stood with Him while suffering on the cross...why would Father God leave His Son alone? Never!

When Jesus cried out, "why have you forsaken me?"....he experienced the blindness of our humanity, our sin & our lack of faith.

He experienced the cruelty of separation and the horror of being lost. Our seperation, our condition of being lost.

But...at the moment of Psalm 22:22 His eyes were opened and He saw His own posterity. He saw His reward, His bride.

He saw Salvation in all its many wondrous & glorious facets.

He saw His Father was with Him...loving Him.

Read it carefully. This may be a part of His command to "Take up your cross & follow Me." Scripture can literally put you inside itself...inside the event.

"He has not hidden His face from Him but has listened to His cry for help" Psalm 22 verse 24b

As a just & Holy Judge Father God had to observe the verdict... of sin...

yet as a loving Father...He would not have left Jesus, His beloved, for one second!

To review, we have Jesus own words, to fulfill the Psalms, in Luke 24. We have a description of Jesus as the singer in Hebrews & Romans. We have Jesus singing at Passover & praying a Psalm upon the cross. The witness, John, heard it & recorded it.

We have 3 instances of spontaneous supernatural song breaking out in His presence. This highlights -8- confirmations of His position as The Divine Song of Songs.

This is marvelous! This is worth singing about!

However, if Jesus is the 7th installment of a Singing Dynasty...Line of 7...

wouldn't we see the prophetic singers restored? Wouldn't we see the very flame of God come down upon the altar as in Moses & Solomons day? Yes! Yes! Yes!

We often focus on the disciples waiting, praying & searching the scriptures in The Upper Room....

Let's not forget that they did not return from the Mount of Olives...and just camp out in The Upper Room 24/7.

"And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now, it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.

And they worshipped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, And were continually in the Temple praising and blessing God." Luke 24:50-53

They were singing at the Temple and resting in the Upper Room. Moving between the two prime locations of public & private prayer.

It's as if you see the singers in the outer court as the High Priest (Jesus) enters the Holy of Holies, in heaven, with His pure & perfect offering!

Then, the fire, indeed comes down upon the Living Altar...His people...The Living Stones.

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly the sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire 🔥 that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit..." Acts 2:1-3

We know Jesus declared He was The Temple (in Matthew 24) and Paul reminds us we are the body of Christ.

"Know yet not that your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit?" 1 Corinthians 6:19

Something we all seem to miss...joyful singing & worship was restored to both the natural & spiritual temple in order to usher in Pentecost!

It did not stop there...it continued from house to house & through out the entire New Testament church.

Song calls forth Song. Holy Spirit connects the bridegroom & bride...through The Sound of Many Waters!

Another translation of the Pentecostal fire 🔥 is "lightnings". Lightning releases a connection from heaven to earth in the rain.

Later in Acts, we see Paul & Silas singing... as they are shackled in a jailhouse. They understood song as a "martial art" for preserving life.

Acts 16: 25

Here we close with 2 scriptures which confirm song as an essential and integral part of The Gospel of Christ.

As a psalmist, I love these 2 scriptures but song belongs to all who are born again.  Paul is addressing the entire ecclessia...because now...we are all part of The Singing Dynasty...

Line of 7. It is now about the song which is resident within you.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another in all wisdom through Psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts." Colossians 3:16

"Do not be drunk with wine, which leads to debauchery, instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with Psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord. " Ephesians 5:18

Now...the new dimension released by the 7th Singing King...Yeshua.....

Song is for All...

every single one of us. It is birthed into us when we are born again.

We are, each one of us, His love song to earth.

Notice that one scripture refers to The Word dwelling richly within...and the other scripture refers to being filled with The Spirit!

The Word and The Spirit are One. Together they release The Song, The Sound of Mamy Waters.

In Part 2- we will explore the relationship of the Song of the Lord.... to The Sound of Many Waters.

Water Words. Water language! A mysterious language of heaven hidden within the "sound of many waters."
